This game got me furious. The bathroom was suddenly inexesible and when I wanted to report the tide pods it wouldn't except it. I made it to 5 am only to be killed by that shit
I've given your game roughly a dozen attempts, enough to get aquainted. but i cannot for the life of me make it to 4am on any difficulty. your shrink/grow anomalies seem completely undetectable and i have only ever reported them by blind guessing. i have never encountered a misc or a space warp anomaly, (or maybe i have, and i couldnt tell. tbh i feel the game would be better off if these two options, misc and space warp, didnt exist.) the subtle blurring of the camera as your sanity depletes helps immerse while simultaneously making it harder to perceive changes (cuz it looks like everything starts moving since its "fuzzing over,") but theres no sanity meter or easy difficulty "active anomaly" counter, and idk if guessing wrong about anomalies damages your sanity. (if it doesnt, maybe it should? also, does sanity regenerate if you fix anomalies?) the monochrome color makes sense given the theme but maybe consider adding some more color to certain anomalies to be less difficult. maybe shrink/grow anomalies have a subtle aura to them. i havent seen any naughty stuff besides dildos stuck to walls. at this point im not even horny anymore, i just wanna catch these rude intruders messing with my furniture. game has potential, just needs some minor alterations to make the game feel more beatable via skill than just dumb luck. i'd say 6/10 as is. remove warp/misc for 7/10, make shrink/grow more pronounced and noticable (you need not remove it) to get 8/10.
Appreciate you giving the game a go, I'll revisit this in 2025 and try and get a better, full version with 3 levels for Halloween next year, that's the plan. We hear you about the shrink and growth anomalies, that's probably the most complained one and we'll look into either making it way more obvious or just cut it. There's a bunch of improvements I'd like to make after having gain more game dev experience since first making it so hopefully we can improve the game experience
Dude this is so difficult, I spent 40 minutes playing on easy and the highest amount of anomalies I was able to get in one run was 5. I really like the art style, but due to its soft borders and indistinct details it is difficult to notice small changes.
Looks like if you you have a report clearing and you dont stay on the cam it crashes the game.
I'll be honest, the first three times I played I was thinking this game was trash because I couldn't figure out any of the changes. Now, however, I'm addicted.
