I did consider adding that as a possible feature during the concept phase but ultimately decided not to as with the hand-drawn style, it would've multiplied the number of assets needed and heavily slow down progress. I wish we did have it and were able to do it in an effective and efficient manner

Like you have claimed and sure enough it's obvious the the theme and the design is all hand drawn. Kudos to you dev. I don't got no money on me put I would like to support your game. Yes, you'll eventually get most of the versions of the game EVENTUALLY. I think at some point in the future, my publisher would want me to stop updating the free version as so it acts more like a demo for the full release though.
As for H-scenes, the scene animations are what you get. The assets and how we animate it is kinda formulaic so changing it means changing 2 years worth of that content. So no, we're unable to make it smoother. I also tried different like transition techniques on renpy but it just looks blurry and gave me a headache.
The beach and birthday events, if the characters are not inviteable, you'll need to take them out on more dates and level them up. If you're inviting the right girls and doing the event story but at the end, there's no sex scene, it's because your outfit might not be appropriate.
The stocks feature, basically buy low sell high. Markets only open in the late morning and only some stocks are available to trade in on differet days. This was done mainly to deter save scumming a fortune.
It seems that I have been stuck on about two things in this game, and I need a bit of help over here. First thing: How do I interact with birthdays and special calendar days? I have been trying to give gifts on birthdays to the celebrated person and on special days like egg day I don't find anything to trigger the event no matter what I do. The second thing that I can't figure out is the threesome/harem things. I have no idea how to make those stuff happen.
The birthdays are not yet available in this game, we plan to add them as events. So far in 0.17, there's the MC's Birthday event and the Beach Day event. Threesomes are unlocked via those calendar events and any other future ones that get added

Some cards obviously don't have art yet, the logo is a placeholder. We're slowly implementing them over time since I commission other artists for them.
The one specifically in the game is Netori and that is the MC cucking other people as opposed to the other NTR which is Netorare meaning the MC is getting cucked (which is not in the game).
The Netori fetish is toggle-able and only really affects dialogue that mention's a woman's husband, if that's toggled off, it changes it to ex-husband.

So I've been playing for almost 2 days, and my character is level 11 well, that doesn't matter much.What matters is that, as for the female character, I only have Juliet in chapter 6, but the gifts cost 170,000 or more, that's normal? (note: for every card duel I have, I only win 1000 for battle)
What version are you playing? I think you need to do more SMS dates and level up. Selling cards is also another way to gain exp. And if your tips aren't high enough, you need to invest in your stats in the health app.

free users are an entire year behnd on content? also for the fix on harley we have to wait a whole month? why? other devs are locking 2 or 3 generatons max behind patreon or whatever, but locking 5 generations now, and extending it to 12 generations locked within the next 12 months? that´s outragous. the game is fun, and i use to support devs treating their community fair, but this is not worth my time. this is just unfair.
I understand why the gap might feel unfair at first glance, but it actually exists to keep things fair for the people who actually fund and monetarily support the project. Without their support, there wouldn’t be new content at all, for anyone. Free players still get everything without spending anything, just on a delay, while supporters get "early access" as the benefit they’re paying for. That’s the system that keeps the game alive.
Right now, free users get updates roughly every 6 weeks, while patrons get them every 4. And from the Patreon side, the larger gap actually increases the value. For the same pledge, future supporters get far more content upfront instead of a small trickle. New patrons instantly unlock a huge backlog, which makes their support feel more worthwhile.
And if you never intend to pledge, I still appreciate you playing the game. I hope that clears up the reasoning behind the schedule.
sure, i do understand free users are a little behind, but according to your roadmap free users will be 1 year behind, wich is by any means not fair at all... increasing the disadvantage will not be increasing the value and the way you treat your free users will most likely not increase the numbers of new pledgers through this game. i don´t know about the other game, but this is by far the most outragous and unfair treatment of free users i have seen in years. keep the gap at five generations and i guarantee you, you will have a better financial outcome. as i stated before i do like to support devs if they treat their community fair, but seeing this roadmap of yours made me not supporting this game.

Fairness is subjective. What I see as fair, what paid supporters see as fair, and what free users see as fair are all different. Simply put, you get what you pay for, and I believe a reasonable update schedule and hours of content already provide more value than $0.
The system is designed to cater more to paid users because they provide the resources to keep development going. Free users can play and rate the game, and as much as I appreciate that kind of support, if that were the only support the game received, it would not survive.
Free players still receive consistent updates from us, something many other developers do not provide. When they do, updates are often several months apart. Some release a demo and never touch the free version again. I also acknowledge developers who provide what you are asking for. If it works for them, it works.
Our schedule balances fairness for free players while rewarding those who fund development. The gap also acts as an incentive for players who want to stay current with updates. The project’s growth, especially recently, shows that this approach is very effective. Paid supporters and the team are happy to provide free players with regular updates, all made possible by their support and hard work.
If down the line it becomes less compelling to have 20 hours of content versus 2 hours for the same pledge amount, I will readjust and adapt as best I can. The schedule only feels like a disadvantage if someone chooses not to support the game on Patreon but still expects the same benefits as those who do.
These choices are not made on a whim but after careful consideration of pros and cons and what is best for the project’s health.
I respect your decision if you choose not to support Sugar Service, and I hope that whenever you return, there is a massive amount of new content ready for you.
Love the gameplay loop, great art and big fan of the anti-ai stance. Have sunk in a good chunk in my first sitting and am looking forward to playing more. My one complaint at this stage would be that I wish the game had some sort of “First time” versions of h-events, it feels a little jarring pacing wise atm, is this something that is planned to be added? I've got all girls (except quinni) up to level 24+ and done all the events of 0.16a. Each one still says I have scenes to unlock and now I'm stumped. For example, with Lilith I have level 24, cg 8/8, outfits 8/8, h-scenes 10/13. Do I need to keep leveling the girls until like 50 or something?
The H-scenes could be the 2x masturbation scenes for each girl or a threesome scene needs to be officially unlocked via the events. You can only officially unlock a H-scene in an event once an in-game year.

It should be fine, there hasn't been any complaints about the apk - you'll have to just look into it yourself for your specific device. Make sure you're allowing permission for everything.

I've been enjoying the demo so far, but I'd like to point out the first Quinni scene is defined as "Trans/trap" in the menu. "Trap" is basically a slur for trans people because it implies they are trying to scam you. I think the game would benefit from removing it, even if I understand that it's a common tag.
I do agree with you, and I'm glad you brought it up. I'll be removing that term and honestly just leaving the options as 'huge cock' or 'huge strap-on'. That already implies the physical build.
I disagree. I have many trap friends that enjoy the term and do not find it offensive. This line of thinking is equal to saying girls shouldn't wear makeup because it hides what they look like. Trap is a fine term and loved by some while it is hated by others. Never yuck someone else's yum. But if you do then your logic should be used against you in turn.
Look at the numbers for their comment. Don't change things just because one person said so. Look how many people disagree. If that person is valid then all of those that disagree are valid too. In which case it is a numbers game. The alternative is letting people write what they want for the tag in game. For example

Female with male equipment= futa
And so on. It is like naming your character or naming the relationship between characters. Some even let you choose how some characters refer to you.

Doing it like this takes a long time though. Ultimately it is up to the dev of their game to decide how to handle complaints from random players. Id understand if someone was funding them but adjusting something just because one person said so is not healthy. Think of the others(5 people myself included at time of comment.)
I completely understand your point, and I have many trans friends that do NOT vibe with the term 'trap' because I agree with the OP that it implies that they're deceiving people of their true identity. They'd use it jokingly amongst each other but they would not want to be actually labelled as such by others. And that's not to invalidate those who are fine with the 'trap' term.
If we're just looking at Quinni as a character, I made her canonically trans. Never in the dialogue do I use the word 'trap' once except in the options menu when I allow the player to choose her genitals. And if I’m being frank, I only did that because it’s the commonplace H-game terminology — which is why terms like “futa”, "femboy" and “trap” appear on the page as shorthand genre descriptors. So I felt omitting one mention of the word in the actual game was worth avoiding offence.
By setting the options to "has a penis (intended)" and "has a strap-on/vagina (alternative)", it leaves her label open for anyone to self-insert what they like to view her as most. You are free to label her as a 'trap' if you so wish just like how you can choose for her to be a cis girl with a vagina if you so wish, the dialogue does not change a single bit with that decision. I've previously encouraged anyone who questioned Quinni's identity by telling them that she's whatever they want her to be and that's okay.
And you’re absolutely right — I shouldn’t let one person dictate how I dev the game but I’ve turned down plenty of requests before. This time, it just happened to be something I genuinely agreed with and had the power to change. People can disagree, and that’s fine — I’ll always make the calls that feel right to me. few minutes into a new game on the update, the game has been polished, very apparently so! Love the artwork for the items that were previously taken down, and since i haven't brought this up in any of my former comments, I'd just like to say i really appreciate the deck building mechanics in this game.

The one specifically in the game is Netori and that is the MC cucking other people as opposed to the other NTR which is Netorare meaning the MC is getting cucked (which is not in the game).
The Netori fetish is toggle-able and only really affects dialogue that mention's a woman's husband, if that's toggled off, it changes it to ex-husband.

What version are you playing? I think you need to do more SMS dates and level up. Selling cards is also another way to gain exp. And if your tips aren't high enough, you need to invest in your stats in the health app.

free users are an entire year behnd on content? also for the fix on harley we have to wait a whole month? why? other devs are locking 2 or 3 generatons max behind patreon or whatever, but locking 5 generations now, and extending it to 12 generations locked within the next 12 months? that´s outragous.
the game is fun, and i use to support devs treating their community fair, but this is not worth my time. this is just unfair.
I understand why the gap might feel unfair at first glance, but it actually exists to keep things fair for the people who actually fund and monetarily support the project. Without their support, there wouldn’t be new content at all, for anyone. Free players still get everything without spending anything, just on a delay, while supporters get "early access" as the benefit they’re paying for. That’s the system that keeps the game alive.
Right now, free users get updates roughly every 6 weeks, while patrons get them every 4. And from the Patreon side, the larger gap actually increases the value. For the same pledge, future supporters get far more content upfront instead of a small trickle. New patrons instantly unlock a huge backlog, which makes their support feel more worthwhile.
And if you never intend to pledge, I still appreciate you playing the game. I hope that clears up the reasoning behind the schedule.
sure, i do understand free users are a little behind, but according to your roadmap free users will be 1 year behind, wich is by any means not fair at all... increasing the disadvantage will not be increasing the value and the way you treat your free users will most likely not increase the numbers of new pledgers through this game. i don´t know about the other game, but this is by far the most outragous and unfair treatment of free users i have seen in years. keep the gap at five generations and i guarantee you, you will have a better financial outcome. as i stated before i do like to support devs if they treat their community fair, but seeing this roadmap of yours made me not supporting this game.

Fairness is subjective. What I see as fair, what paid supporters see as fair, and what free users see as fair are all different. Simply put, you get what you pay for, and I believe a reasonable update schedule and hours of content already provide more value than $0.
The system is designed to cater more to paid users because they provide the resources to keep development going. Free users can play and rate the game, and as much as I appreciate that kind of support, if that were the only support the game received, it would not survive.
Free players still receive consistent updates from us, something many other developers do not provide. When they do, updates are often several months apart. Some release a demo and never touch the free version again. I also acknowledge developers who provide what you are asking for. If it works for them, it works.
Our schedule balances fairness for free players while rewarding those who fund development. The gap also acts as an incentive for players who want to stay current with updates. The project’s growth, especially recently, shows that this approach is very effective. Paid supporters and the team are happy to provide free players with regular updates, all made possible by their support and hard work.
If down the line it becomes less compelling to have 20 hours of content versus 2 hours for the same pledge amount, I will readjust and adapt as best I can. The schedule only feels like a disadvantage if someone chooses not to support the game on Patreon but still expects the same benefits as those who do.
These choices are not made on a whim but after careful consideration of pros and cons and what is best for the project’s health.
I respect your decision if you choose not to support Sugar Service, and I hope that whenever you return, there is a massive amount of new content ready for you.

Love the gameplay loop, great art and big fan of the anti-ai stance. Have sunk in a good chunk in my first sitting and am looking forward to playing more. My one complaint at this stage would be that I wish the game had some sort of “First time” versions of h-events, it feels a little jarring pacing wise atm, is this something that is planned to be added? Otherwise, am loving the game, keep up the great work!
We've added foreplay content which pretty much acts as such, a bit of a build up done through text to set the scene. That's in later updates.

It's on hiatus at the moment, I missed the Halloween window this year because I was too busy with Sugar Service but I may or may not get back to Detected After Dark sometime, I won't promise when though.
I've got all girls (except quinni) up to level 24+ and done all the events of 0.16a. Each one still says I have scenes to unlock and now I'm stumped. For example, with Lilith I have level 24, cg 8/8, outfits 8/8, h-scenes 10/13. Do I need to keep leveling the girls until like 50 or something?
The H-scenes could be the 2x masturbation scenes for each girl or a threesome scene needs to be officially unlocked via the events. You can only officially unlock a H-scene in an event once an in-game year.

I've been enjoying the demo so far, but I'd like to point out the first Quinni scene is defined as "Trans/trap" in the menu. "Trap" is basically a slur for trans people because it implies they are trying to scam you. I think the game would benefit from removing it, even if I understand that it's a common tag.
I do agree with you, and I'm glad you brought it up. I'll be removing that term and honestly just leaving the options as 'huge cock' or 'huge strap-on'. That already implies the physical build.
I disagree. I have many trap friends that enjoy the term and do not find it offensive. This line of thinking is equal to saying girls shouldn't wear makeup because it hides what they look like. Trap is a fine term and loved by some while it is hated by others. Never yuck someone else's yum. But if you do then your logic should be used against you in turn.
Look at the numbers for their comment. Don't change things just because one person said so. Look how many people disagree. If that person is valid then all of those that disagree are valid too. In which case it is a numbers game. The alternative is letting people write what they want for the tag in game. For example
Girly male= femboi
Female with male equipment= futa
And so on. It is like naming your character or naming the relationship between characters. Some even let you choose how some characters refer to you.

Doing it like this takes a long time though. Ultimately it is up to the dev of their game to decide how to handle complaints from random players. I completely understand your point, and I have many trans friends that do NOT vibe with the term 'trap' because I agree with the OP that it implies that they're deceiving people of their true identity. They'd use it jokingly amongst each other but they would not want to be actually labelled as such by others. And that's not to invalidate those who are fine with the 'trap' term.
If we're just looking at Quinni as a character, I made her canonically trans. Never in the dialogue do I use the word 'trap' once except in the options menu when I allow the player to choose her genitals. And if I’m being frank, I only did that because it’s the commonplace H-game terminology — which is why terms like “futa”, "femboy" and “trap” appear on the page as shorthand genre descriptors. So I felt omitting one mention of the word in the actual game was worth avoiding offence.
By setting the options to "has a penis (intended)" and "has a strap-on/vagina (alternative)", it leaves her label open for anyone to self-insert what they like to view her as most. You are free to label her as a 'trap' if you so wish just like how you can choose for her to be a cis girl with a vagina if you so wish, the dialogue does not change a single bit with that decision. I've previously encouraged anyone who questioned Quinni's identity by telling them that she's whatever they want her to be and that's okay.
And you’re absolutely right — I shouldn’t let one person dictate how I dev the game but I’ve turned down plenty of requests before. This time, it just happened to be something I genuinely agreed with and had the power to change. People can disagree, and that’s fine — I’ll always make the calls that feel right to me. you need to level them up by taking them on dates, depending on the event depends on how likely the girls will wanna go, some need more convincing
